Our services include carbon accounting and reporting, carbon reductions and offsets, as well as the development of tailored strategies to help our clients meet their sustainability goals. We strive to be at the forefront of carbon reduction and sustainability solutions and strive to make a positive impact on the environment.
Carbon Accounting
Carbon accounting is a crucial process for organizations and projects to assess and manage their environmental impact.
It involves measuring, quantifying, and reporting greenhouse gas emissions. Through corporate and GHG reporting, organizations can track their carbon footprint, set reduction targets, and implement mitigation strategies. This promotes transparency, accountability, and sustainability while aligning with global climate change efforts and standards.
Net Zero Carbon (NZC) Certification
Certifications such as the LEED Zero Carbon certification and the Living Building Challenge's Net Zero Carbon certification are examples of recognized frameworks that evaluate and validate a building's ability to achieve net zero carbon emissions.
Depending on the type of certification, buildings must demonstrate effective reduction of operational and/or embodied carbon emissions. They also need to account for and offset their remaining carbon emissions through various means such as carbon offset projects, renewable energy investments, or on-site renewable energy generation.
Environmental, Social, Governance, Resilience (ESGR)
Climate Asia provides ESG consultancy services, evaluating a company's performance and impact in these three key areas. ESG considerations are important for stakeholders who seek to align their investments with sustainable and responsible practices. Incorporating ESG principles into operations and reporting demonstrates companies' commitment to long-term sustainability and responsible business practices.
Training Programs
Climate Asia partners with organizations such as Building Construction Authority (BCA) and BSI Singapore to conduct different courses relating to carbon computation and management strategies. Certificates will also be provided to participants who have completed the program.
Decarbonization Roadmap
A decarbonization roadmap aims to build a sustainable and resilient future for companies and thereby Singapore, by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable practices. The roadmap focuses on improving energy efficiency, using renewable energy sources and promoting circular economy practices. For instance, the 2030 Transition Plan outlined in the Green Mark 2021 certification provides a roadmap for decarbonization, focusing on the reduction of Scope 1 and 2 emissions.
Carbon Neutral Events
The goal of carbon neutral events is to ensure that the events have a net zero carbon footprint, where carbon emissions are balanced out by equivalent carbon reductions or removals. It demonstrates a commitment to sustainability and raises awareness about climate change, inspiring others take similar actions.
Climate Asia will account for carbon emissions during the event, and recommend reduction/offset measures, Some steps for carbon reduction include use of energy-efficient equipment, promoting sustainable transportation for attendees and reducing waste/promoting recycling.
Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs)
Climate Asia offers consultancy and verification services for EPDs as well. Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) are verified documents that provide comprehensive information about the environmental impact of a product throughout its life cycle. EPDs are based on life cycle assessment (LCA) methodologies and provide data on the product's energy use, resource consumption, emissions, and other environmental impacts.
